The vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro is the start of a spectacular triennial trip to South America this year.
Five nights stay in Rio at the Sofitel Hotel on Copacabana Beach will be the first base from which to visit the remarkable sites of this fabulous city and have our scientific conference with the Brazilian colleagues.
The group will then fly to the Argentinean border, and while staying within the National Park there will be opportunities to view the majestic Iguazu Falls from both the Brazilian and Argentinean perspectives.
After one night at the Falls the group heads north to Lima, where another conference will take place with our Peruvian surgical colleagues and tours of the historical sites will be incorporated.
Our hotel in Lima is the Marriott in Miraflores, with stunning views over the Pacific Ocean.
The final four days of this marvellous trip will culminate with a trip to Machu Picchu and Cuzco and the Sacred Valley, an absolute must.
All fellows, members, partners and friends to the College are most welcome.
We aim to hold conferences of the highest order in both venues and there will be ceremonial and social events to match.
The accommodation, venues and visits are outstanding and the experience will be educational and enjoyable for all participants.

The cost of this unmissable trip will be (double) £4950 per person and (single) £6350 per person.
At the end of the main trip there will be optional tours to the Galapagos Islands, Amazon Basin, and Easter Island.
