| The Royal College of Surgeons of England is the professional body for surgery. We are seeking to strengthen the capacity of our external affairs directorate. In this post you will help us shape the college’s professional agenda to take forward the organisation’s aims and objectives. As a Regional Communications Project Manager, you’ll play a leading part in developing the voice of the College throughout the UK. By working with our regional teams across the country, you will develop a regional communications strategy in a positive and proactive manner. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the College to ensure that surgeons experience and expertise is central to shaping the development of College policy. You will promote and develop the reputation of the College in the regions. You will be a self starter with an extensive track record in communications. You’re used to working at a senior level using you influence to develop productive ways of working in a dispersed team. You’re creative, innovative, passionate approach will mean you can play your part to help ensure that patients have access to best possible surgical care. Please note, this post may be extended beyond the original 10 months dependent on circumstances at the time. A secondment arrangement may be considered for internal candidates. PLEASE NOTE: This role is based in London but with extensive travel nationally. |
