Content
This newly-designed, intensive and structured course will comprise of a variety of lecture presentations, alternating with demonstration sessions and practice VIVAs using cadaveric prosections.
The focus throughout this course will be surgically relevant topographical anatomy underlying the various surgical approaches in orthopaedic practice with emphasis placed on anatomical hazards and pitfalls encountered in these approaches.

- Brachial plexus
- Shoulder region
- Cervical spine
- Anterior cervical spine
- Compartments of the forearm
- Surgical anatomy of the radial and ulnar nerves
- Anatomy of the hand
- Lumbar spine
- Lumbar nerve root anatomy
- The hip region
- Bony pelvis
- Popliteal fossa
- Leg compartments
- Anatomy of the foot
Duration
One and a half days (course starts at 1pm on the first day)
