Career Development, Research and Examinations ‘Being Second on Call: Module 2’

This NEW course aims to look at the important issues in developing a career in oral and maxillofacial surgery. The pace of change in the delivery of healthcare and training of specialists has been rapid in recent years; and planning a career in OMFS can be a proverbial minefield!

The course focuses on the issues that need to be addressed in planning a successful career in the specialty.

Level

This course is designed for trainees in all levels in OMFS but particulary those in the early years of surgical training. Established consultants who would like to contribute to the discussion and debate are very welcome to attend.

  • The ‘taught’ higher qualification
  • Writing a successful paper
  • Getting published
