Emphasis will be placed on small group teaching and will be predominantly skills based with utilisation of both animal models and cadaveric dissection. This two-day course is aimed at trainees in general surgery who are in their intermediate years (ST3-5) and seeks to deliver the core skills in colorectal surgery as defined for that stage by the Intercollegiate Surgical Curriculum Programme (ISCP).
