Tutors
The Education Department Faculty - we are always interested in hearing from surgeons willing to teach on our courses and contribute their time and experience to their colleagues in the profession in this way.
The Education Department's reputation as a leading supplier of surgical education is founded on the expertise of our tutors. Led by the Director, they are practising surgeons seconded part-time to provide academic direction for our programmes. The department is headed by:

Individual courses are presented and taught by a widely-based team of volunteers from the surgical profession (and where appropriate from other medical professions), under the leadership of what we call 'course convenors' - surgeons invited by the department, normally through the Raven Tutor, to manage the surgical input to the course.
We are very grateful for all the hard work and expertise that our faculty brings to the course programmes, and we are always interested in hearing from surgeons willing to teach on our courses and contribute their time and experience to their colleagues in the profession in this way.
