The aim of the day is to provide updates on medicolegal, patient safety and professional issues, which will be delivered through a series of lectures and interactive question and answer sessions.
The includes the following topics:
- The Legal System – The Coroner, Clinical and Criminal Negligence
- Dealing with Problems – ARCP’s, Remediation and Human Factors Training
- What are the Regulators Doing – the GMC, the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service and HQIP (publication of results)
- The View from the Top – Role of the Medical Director and the College
