Courses

Continuing education is at the heart of the Faculty’s activities. The Faculty’s Education Department, under the guidance of the Faculty's Postgraduate Education Committee, offers a wide spectrum of courses and training programmes across the continuum of education: from general professional training through specialist training to continuing education for specialists. It promotes life-long learning. It provides continuing professional development to professionals so that they can continue to meet the needs of patients and deliver appropriate health outcomes. It enables dental professionals to expand and fulfill their potential.

The Faculty’s Robert Bradlaw Adviser is charged with the delivery of various educational initiatives and works closely with the Chairman of the Postgraduate Education Committee, The Dean and Board Members and provides direction to staff within the Faculty’'s Education Department which comprises of a team of four Administrators.

Please note that due to ethical and professional reasons, the Education Department operates completely separately from the Examination Department. The information and material compiled for all education courses is put together by the education team with reference to the curriculum but in isolation from the examination department. Examinations teams release no details about their examinations, except what is already in the public domain and available to everyone. The course material, however, is available only to students who are registered on the course and aims to prepare candidates for the respective dental examinations.
