Assessors for the Fellowship of Dental Surgery - Fellowship by Assessment

02 May 2012

Applications are invited from Fellows of the Faculty of at least 5 years’ standing, for a limited number of vacancies on the panel of assessors for the Faculty’s fellowship-by-assessment programme. Applicants are sought across the range of dental surgery specialties. This is an opportunity to contribute to the profession on the national and international stage.

As an assessor, you will be working as part of a team and tasked with assessing whether candidates who put themselves forward for the fellowship of the Faculty meet the required standards.  This will require you to complete up to a maximum of 10 submissions during the year.

Successful applicants will be required to attend an assessor training day before acting as an assessor. This event will be held in London and you will be notified of the date once it has been agreed.

For further information, including a job description, person specification and application form, please contact Hazel Johnstone at the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, 35-43 Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London WC2A 3PE. Email hjohnstone@rcseng.ac.uk

The closing date for applications is Friday 20 July, 2012.
