The Medical Defence Union (MDU) is a non-profit making mutual company, owned by its members. It provides indemnity and 24-hour advice and assistance with ethical and medico-legal problems.
The Medical Protection Society (MPS) is a not-for-profit, international mutual association run exclusively for, and largely by, doctors, dentists and other healthcare professionals. They offer a wide range of medico-legal services.
