On Friday 14th May the Hunterian Museum will be open from 6pm-10pm as part of Museums at Night celebrations, offering visitors the chance to learn about the art of stitching in all forms.
Skilled craftspeople, including members of Stitch London, will be on hand to encourage visitors to try knitting, weaving and sewing, while surgeons share the secrets of the operating theatre teaching basic suturing techniques.
The free, drop-in event will also give visitors the opportunity to enjoy the fascinating collections of the Hunterian Museum.
