The Royal College of Surgeons, working with Surgical Specialty Associations, has launched a free resource service aimed at national and local commissioners of surgical services. Resources available include a variety of standards, guidance and service specifications that provide best-practice advice to support commissioners in the delivery of safe, efficient and cost-effective surgical care.
This new online resource complements the existing College and Specialty Association regional network of senior surgeons. This network is able to provide local expertise and advice to commissioners and providers regarding surgical services across all specialities.
