The Royal College of Surgeons’ position on the Health Bill has not changed since our statement of 16 February, confirming that we are holding an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of our members on the 8th of March, after receiving the necessary number of signatures (31) from Members and Fellows of the RCS.
The EGM is an opportunity for Members and Fellows of the RCS to debate the Bill and will guide the RCS regarding its future work around the Bill and NHS reforms.
Note to Editors:
The Royal College of Surgeons has over 18,000 members. 31 signatures requesting a debate were received during February 2012.
