1 December 2013 - Christmas Appeal
Introducing MARTYN - a ground breaking surgical training method for paediatric neurosurery.
We need to raise £30,000 to develop the paediatric MARTYN. We need to fund a highly specialised team – one of the few teams in the world capable of this task – and make sure every aspect of the model is anatomically accurate by developing and using new materials and techniques.
20 November 2013 - Launch of Conserve our Collections
Our precious collections may not always be seen but are never forgotten
The College boasts not only the fine displays in the Hunterian Museum but also impressive archive, book and object collections that, due to thier size, cannot all be on public display.
For over ten years, people have generously supported our Adopt a Book scheme. We are now opening the doors to all of our heritage collections and would like to give you the opportunity to help us conserve our collections.

15 July 2013 - Support our Summer Appeal
2014 marks the centenary of the outbreak of World War I. The Royal College of Surgeons, in partnership with the Imperial War Museum and with the support of Arts Council England, is playing a part in the official commemoration of this landmark by staging an exhibition: War, Art and Surgery.
We need to raise £8,000 to cover the framing, printing and conservation of the artworks to create this unique cultural resource. We hope that you choose to make a contribution, however small, towards this ambitious project.
25 June 2013 - Turn your online shopping into donations for the Royal College of Surgeons of England!
Do you shop online? Did you know that every time you buy something you could be raising money for the College?
Over 2400 well known retailers, including Amazon, M&S, Boden, Waitrose, House of Fraser, Vodafone and Virgin Atlantic, will donate a percentage of what you spend to the Royal College of Surgeons when you shop with them, through the fundraising website: easyfundraising.org.uk
How does it work?
It’s like nectar but instead of earning points, each purchase generates a donation. Instead of going directly to a retailer’s website, go to easyfundraising and choose the retailer you want to shop with, then everything you spend with that retailer earns a free donation for us. It’s completely free to use, and your shopping won’t cost you a penny more.
On average, each retailer will donate 5% of the cost of your shopping. Those donations soon mount up.

December 2012 - Christmas Appeal
Support the surgeons of tomorrow by giving to this year's RCS Christmas Appeal.
With this Christmas Appeal we hope to raise sufficient funds to continue to subsidise our Annual Summer School for medical students. The week-long course is aimed specifically at improving their anatomical knowledge and we need to keep it at an affordable level. Without donations and sponsorship it would simply be prohibitively expensive and limit access. For further details please view the below leaflet and we hope you will choose to support it.
