Members' AreaJoin the National Surgical Fellowship Scheme
The Royal College of Surgeons and the Surgical Specialty Associations have established a National Surgical Fellowship Scheme to manage, quality assure and publically recognise fellowship posts in England, Wales and Northern Ireland that comply with standards of educational quality. Any trust, fellowship organiser, or lead trainer responsible for running a fellowship in England, Wales or Northern Ireland can apply for Fellowship Approval.

The College is committed to supporting employers in resolving concerns about individual surgeons or surgical units. Through the Invited Review Mechanism, the College can provide a fair, independent and professional review process to determine whether there is a cause for concern and make recommendations for improvement.
