Global Surgical Frontiers Conference

The RCS Global Surgical Frontiers Conference took place on Friday 24th January with a full house of aspiring medical students, retired surgeons and doctors, inspiring lecturers, who were all keen to learn about opportunities to work abroad.
This was the third edition of the Global Surgical Frontiers Conference with the aim to encourage and support surgical links between the UK and developing countries. The theme for this year was "Surgical Training". The conference featured inspiring speakers and the opportunity to network with organisations involved in surgery in developing countries.
There was also a poster competition from 20 surgical students/doctors related to surgical training in developing countries.

The Global Surgical Frontiers Conference on 24th January 2014 has been accredited for the purposes of CPD by the Royal College of Surgeons and awarded with CPD points/hours. Participants of this conference are entitled to five CPD points.
