Education Bursaries

RCS Education is able to make a number of educational bursaries available throughout the year thanks to the generous contributions of our sponsors and other surgical groups such as the Worshipful Company of Needlemakers.

These bursaries are to be used by the recipient to pay towards a course run at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

The bursaries are open to members of the College who are taking part in a recognised surgical training programme. Applications will be accepted from non-members who are applying for ad eundem membership of the College, for more information on ad eundem membership please go to the Membership website pages.

Applications for the bursaries must be submitted on the application form provided and should clearly set out how attendance on your chosen course would benefit your career. They should be sent with an accompanying supporting letter from your assigned educational supervisor or supervising consultant. CVs will not be accepted on their own.
