Lectureships

The Council invites applications for election to the office of Hunterian Lecturer; Arris and Gale Lecturer and Arnott Lecturer. In order to be eligible for these awards applicants must have either Fellowship or Membership of this College, or the Fellowship and Membership of the College's Dental Surgery.

Election of Lecturers for 2012/2013

  • Hunterian Lecturer 
  • Arris & Gale Lecturer - on a subject relating to Human Anatomy and Physiology
  • Arnott Lecturer - on a subject relating to Anatomy

The Council invites applications for election to the office of Hunterian Lecturer, Arris and Gale Lecturer, and Arnott Lecturer. In order to be eligible for these awards applicants must have either fellowship or membership of this College, or the fellowship and membership of the College's dental surgery. Up to twelve Hunterian Lectures may be awarded.

Lectures will normally be delivered in the United Kingdom. Exceptionally, they may be delivered outside the United Kingdom, subject to the approval of the lectureships selection committee, provided a member of council of this College is present for the lecture.

All these appointments are made on the condition that those elected will give the College first refusal to publish their lecture in the Annals. Copyright for publications will be retained by the College.
