The Colledge Family Memorial Fellowship Fund

The Colledge Family Memorial Fellowship is a fund available for Senior Trainees or new consultants in otolaryngology/ head and neck surgery planning a study period overseas.

This fund is now closed and will reopen in 2013.

The next award of this fellowship will be made for the 2013/4 academic year. The value of the award to any one fellow or member is not likely to be less than £15,000. All applications will be considered but applicants who stand to gain clinical or research experience will be given priority.

For all applicants the following conditions are laid down by the trust:

  1. You must be a fellow or member of this College and a senior trainee, or recently appointed consultant or of similar status, in laryngology, rhinology or otology.
  2. The fund is restricted to UK medical graduates
  3. The clinical study or research, which can be conducted in the UK or overseas, is to be for otolaryngology/head and neck surgery.
  4. A report must be submitted within three months of your return.

Each year the selection committee will select a successful applicant to conduct a formal annual lecture entitled ‘The Lionel Colledge Memorial Lecture’ The lecturer will receive a medal in recognition.

All expenses should be given in sterling values.
