H J Windsor Prize
An award for research or educational project in Australia or the British Isles
The H J Windsor Prize, established in 1976 by the late Dr H J Windsor KSG CBE FRCS of Brisbane, Australia, is awarded annually either to an Australian Surgeon to visit the British Isles, or a British Surgeon to visit Australia.
The value of the prize is £500 and preference will be given to a young surgeon proposing to undertake a research or educational project. The successful candidate will be required to submit a report on return from their visit.
Please ensure that you send one hard copy in the post of:
- A brief curriculum vitae
- An outline of the research or educational project envisaged
- Supporting letters from a Consultant in the UK/Australia, and the person in UK/Australia under whom the work is to be carried out
Closing date for applications is no later than 1st July 2009
