Events and Resources for Students
The Careers team at the RCS aims to help students from all backgrounds to access a career in medicine and ultimately surgery. One way that we achieve this is via our events programme. We run and attend a number of events for school students interested in medicine and surgery. These are aimed at years 12 and 13. The sessions include talks from medical students and surgeons as well as a chance to practice some practical skills.
London and regional events
We manage booking for the London events (run in collaboration with the Hunterian Museum) through schools careers teams. Unfortunately we cannot take bookings from individuals or parents - please get your (or your child's) school to contact us.
If you are a teacher and have students who may be interested in future dates please call the Learning Officer on 020 7869 6566 with the most appropriate contact details and we will add you to our schools mailing list. We support students regionally via the Surgery in Schools programme.
RCS Schools Workshops are kindly supported by B Braun.
