National Undergraduate Curriculum in Surgery
We have launched a new National Undergraduate Curriculum for Surgery, written for medical students, their surgical teachers, and those organising medical school curricula.
The updated 2023 publication reflects recent developments in UK medical undergraduate education. Since the last curriculum was published in 2015, revised standards have been published by the General Medical Council (GMC), and a new universal assessment, the Medical Licensing Assessment (MLA), will be required to be taken by all qualifying medical students, prior to registration, from 2024 onwards.
