Clinical Lead and Working Group member – CCrISP and START

The Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS England) wishes to recruit a clinical lead as well as members of a working group and external advisors to support the redevelopment of the hugely successful CCrISP® programme and its related programmes such as START. These programmes focus on the practical skills and knowledge needed to look after surgical patients including those who are deteriorating or at risk of doing so. Learning includes the development of practical, theoretical and personal skills in a safe environment.

We welcome volunteers from a variety of backgrounds and experience. We are keen to build a community of faculty who can act as role models to course participants and represent the diversity of people who work in surgery.

For roles within this project, it would be beneficial if applicants had experience or interest in some of the following:

  • Delivering surgical training to surgeons of mixed specialities;
  • Developing surgical training programmes.

Clinical Lead Applications: Those interested should send:
