Event Overview
The conference will focus on the tenth edition of ATLS®, lessons learned and potential improvements, including a discussion about the four-stage model for teaching psychomotor skills.

- Evidence based presentation on the cervical spine protection (hot topic!) – Joakim Jorgensen, Consultant Trauma and Vascular Surgeon and Chair of ATLS® Norway and ATLS® European Association.
- Concussion: advances in diagnosis and treatment – Professor Tony Belli, Consultant Neurosurgeon and Professor of Trauma Neurosurgery at the University of Birmingham.
- The patient’s journey to recovery from a severe trauma. A science communicator who suffered a traumatic brain injury and documented his recovery will share his experience and the massive impact of the injury on his life.
