Event Overview

This event will take place at the Museum of Life Sciences, Kings College London

Discover the animals that can barely be seen by the human eye in this family-friendly half-term workshop led by the the Quekett Microscopical Club, working with the KCL Museum of Life Sciences and the Museums of the Royal College of Surgeons.

At this event you will:-

- Discover the history of microscopes and the study of the microscopic world.

- Use a replica eighteenth century Leeuwenhoek microscope.

- See a range of slides, including Victorian specimens; and view them under 19th, 20th and 21st century microscopes.

- Prepare your own slide for viewing.

Sessions last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes

Ages 11-14 - all children must be accompanied.
Tickets are free but must be booked in advance - maximum 5 tickets per booking (accompanying adults as well as children must have tickets).
