How can the law affect the surgical practice?

The laws have a far-reaching influence on surgical practice. Insight of legal issues is essential to all stages of the surgical career. Aimed at all career grades, our upcoming webinar will focus on helping you understand the various aspects and implications the law has in your surgical career.

Mr Leslie Hamilton, a past RCS Council member and Chair of the GMC independent review of gross negligence manslaughter and culpable homicide, will chair a panel of two experienced professionals in the medico-legal area.

The presentations will cover a range of topics about this vital strand of the surgical career and will be followed by a Q&A where you will get a chance to put your own questions to be discussed by the panel.
