Starting your specialty training can be a daunting experience, but that does not have to be the norm. Skills acquired during core training can be honed, behaviours can be adapted and expectations managed to allow for a smooth transition to your chosen surgical specialty. Aimed at core and early years specialist trainees, our upcoming webinar will focus on helping you understand how to get the most out of the first weeks and months of your speciality training, how to overcome challenges and prepare for the next step of your career.
Mr Richard Kerr, RCS Council member and Chair of the Commission on the Future of Surgery, will chair a panel of two highly experienced professionals in the surgical and educational sectors.
The presentations will cover a range of topics about this vital stage of the surgical career and will be followed by a Q&A where you will get a chance to put your own questions through to be discussed by the panel.
