The programme

We are delighted to be joined by Sir Jim Mackey, Chief Executive of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and NHS England's Elective Recovery Advisor, as our keynote speaker for this year's conference. Sir Jim will share his perspective on elective recovery and what the key issues are for the years ahead.

Other topics on the programme will include:

  • An update on the new surgical training curriculum, one year on from its implementation
  • The future of surgical training and the surgical workforce
  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in surgery
  • Attendees will also have the chance to learn about recently developed College initiatives and share best practice with colleagues from across the UK.

A full programme will be shared soon.

Hybrid conference format

This year's conference will be hybrid, with attendees able to attend the event in person at our new state of art event space in Lincolns Inn Fields, or join remotely. Please select the relevant type of ticket when you register.
