Temporary Closure of archives services provided by the Library and Archives Research Room
From the 18 May to 22 June, archives services provided by the Library and Archives and Research Room will be temporarily closed, whilst we move our final collections back into our new building.
During this period we will continue to answer email enquiries and book Research Room appointments from 23 June, when the service will resume. Please email us at archives@rcseng.ac.uk.
The Research Room is for anyone wishing to use the archive collections. Our opening hours are Tuesday to Thursday,10 am to 5 pm. Booking is essential and please allow at least five working days to arrange your visit so we can ensure material is available.

Institutional Archives
As well as documenting the aims, objectives, and achievements of the College, the institutional archives offer a unique glimpse into the people and events which have shaped the College’s history.
Deposited Collections
The College's collection of deposited archives and manuscripts contains a unique and diverse variety of material relating to medicine and surgery from the 16th to 20th century.
