The College has recently published a guide for surgeons to avoid unconscious bias, with tips to improve diversity and recognise bullying behaviour before it becomes a more serious issue.
Running schools eventsWe are currently redeveloping our Surgery in Schools outreach programme for the 2016/17 academic year. If you would like to get involved, please email us firstname.lastname@example.org at to register your interest and we will contact you when details go live.

Virtual networking and peer supportThe Women in Surgery (WinS) directory lists surgeons willing to talk to student, trainees and surgeons about issues important to them. Join the WinS network to support other women, then search the directory if you would like to talk to a colleague about life as a woman surgeon.
