Women in Surgery host two national events every year to support the membership. Events run approximately every 6-9 months and aim to support and enable women in surgery. Our events are open to all but we encourage those interested in WinS and the surrounding issues to join the network.
The Senior Women’s Day is an interactive event for consultants and SAS members which looks to support the challenges faced by those who may have an established surgical career but wish to expand their portfolios. It explores issues pertinent to this group and discusses ways to improve support and opportunities for the wider membership.
The Women in Surgery Conference is our flagship event which brings together individuals from the whole membership and looks at big topics such as leadership and excellence while providing opportunities to network and attend workshops on a variety of topics.
