Surgical course participant evaluation (SCOPE)
IMPORTANT: Following a fire before Easter in Holborn, London, which took out power and internet services to the College, the online course evaluation ‘SCOPE’ link was inaccessible from the period covering 1st April – 17th April 2015. However our internet access has been restored and the survey is now up and running.
Note: You ARE still required to complete the evaluation, please use this link in order to complete your post course evaluation at your earliest convenience.
The Online Course Evaluation
As a participant, your evaluation is an essential part of ensuring the quality of the Royal College of Surgeons of England courses. We have moved to an online system of evaluation, and your feedback will contribute to maintaining and enhancing course standards. The online evaluation form consists of three parts:
- Simple demographic questions
- Questions appropriate to all courses, covering your experience of enrolment, course conduct, assessment and administrative support. There is also an opportunity for free text comments.
- Course specific questions, reflecting your opinion on how successfully the course achieved expected learning outcomes for knowledge and skills.
The evaluation is conducted anonymously, and names are only used to check and validate responses.
Evaluation is an important part of taking part in a course. Please complete the online evaluation immediately after the course, while your memory is fresh, or at the latest, within 2 weeks of completion.
Course certificates will only be issued by the College to participants who have completed the online evaluation form.
Once you have completed the evaluation you will receive a unique ID number.
We cannot confirm receipt of each individual evaluation; please be assured that the ID number confirms that your evaluation has been completed successfully.
It should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
Thank you for taking the time to evaluate your course. Your opinion matters to us and will help to inform future course planning.
