Surgical workforce census toolkit

The census data toolkit is a companion piece to the Advancing the Surgical Workforce: 2023 UK Surgical Workforce Census Report. The toolkit is interactive, allowing users to review the census data independently. It is best viewed in full screen and on a desktop.

This enhanced version includes more granular data than the public version, allowing College members to access the census results more closely.

The data is organised into the domains covered by the Census report namely:

• demographics;
• job plans;
• working conditions.

Each section includes a number of filters to allow the data to be refined and reviewed. The report includes navigation guidance to demonstrate how the toolkit can be used.
