Morning programme
Foundling Museum - Guided Tour
Meet at 9.45am at the College in Lincoln's Inn Fields to join a medical-themed walking tour up to the museum, led by Blue Badge accredited guide Sue Weir. If you are meeting the group at the museum in Brunswick Square, we will register you there at 10.15am.
The Foundling Museum, which was established by the philanthropist Thomas Coram in 1739, tells the story of the Foundling Hospital, Britain's first home for children at risk of abandonment. The museum is responsible for the care and maintenance of two collections – the Foundling Hospital Collection and the Foundling Museum Collection, and includes works of art by some of Britain's most prominent eighteenth-century artists. Today the museum celebrates the ways in which creative people have helped improve children's lives for over 275 years.

Benjamin Franklin House - Guided Tour
Meet at the house at 10am for a guided tour, which will last approximately one hour and include refreshments.
Benjamin Franklin House at 36 Craven Street in the heart of London is a heritage 'gem' and the world's only remaining home of Benjamin Franklin. The architectural tour of the Benjamin Franklin House explores the Georgian features of House, along with its fascinating history encompassing Franklin’s long residence between 1757 and1775, the Hewson Anatomy School, and the comprehensive conservation project that saved it from dereliction.
