Webinar information

What drives NHS surgical waiting times, and how are these lists managed to ensure timely patient care?

Evening, weekend and high-intensity theatre (HIT) lists are central to the government’s strategy to meet the 18-week target by the end of the current parliament, as outlined in the Elective Reform Plan. They aim to do this by delivering an extra 40,000 NHS appointments, operations and diagnostics every week.

Join us for an insightful discussion on these initiatives and explore innovative strategies to shorten waiting times and improve patient access to care. Our expert panel includes:

  • Tim Mitchell, President of RCS England and Consultant ENT Surgeon;
  • Stella Vig, National Medical Director for Secondary Care at the NHS;
  • Syed S Ahmed, Regional Director at RCS England.

All our webinars are free for members, this webinar is accredited for up to 1 CPD point. If you're not currently a member but would like to join us, please visit our membership page.
