Meet the new President: An interview with Professor Neil Mortensen

Professor Neil Mortensen takes up office as the president of the Royal College of Surgeons of England at a very unusual time. He is ready to ‘hit the ground running’ when it comes to addressing the big issues of the day and setting out a plan for his three year term.

We invite you to participate in a live Interview with the new President. Professor Mortensen will be grilled about his plans for his term by RCS Council member Stella Vig and Regional Director for Yorkshire Arin Saha. Join us and pose your own questions to the new president and find out what is next for the RCS.

Why should you tune in?

  • Ask your questions directly to the president.
  • Hear how the RCS will continue to support surgeons during the continuing pandemic and beyond.
  • Find out more about Professor Mortensen’s personal journey and his advice to those hoping to follow his path.

We want to ensure that we are supporting you and providing you with the most helpful information for yourself and your peers. Please get in touch with our events team with any questions or further topics you would like to be discussed during this session.

For those unable to join the livestream on Wednesday, the recording will be made available on our COVID-19 webinar page.
