Event Overview

Overview

Are you looking to strengthen your interview skills and prepare for the next stage in your surgical career

Our hugely popular Interview skills workshops sold out in only minutes and for that reason we have now come back to you with the chance to tune into our Interview skills webinar. The webinar is a means for all medical students and foundation trainees to bolster their knowledge on the best practices to employ during their core surgical training interviews.

Mr John Brecknell, RCS Council member and Consultant Neurosurgeon, will be joined by two panel members; Miss Kathryn Ford, Paediatric Surgery Registrar and one of the designers of our surgical skills competition and interview skills workshop, and Doctor Francesca Haarer, Core Trainee.

The informative session will include:

  • interview tips;
  • on the day expectations – overview of the interview station;
  • how to set-up your portfolio;
  • much more.

The presentation will cover a vast range of topics about this vital stage of the surgical career and will be followed by a Q&A where you will get a chance to put your own questions through to be discussed by the panel.

This webinar is part of our webinar series, all of our past webinars are available to watch online. This is one of the many webinar topics requested by our members and social media followers. If you have any suggestions for future webinar topics please get in touch

All the resources and the full recording of the webinar will be uploaded onto the website after the event.

*This webinar is free for all RCS members and costs £15 for non-members. Find out about all the benefits of RCS membership and how you can join here.
