Live Quality Improvement Collaboratives

HandsFirst2 Quality Improvement Collaborative

HandsFirst2 brings together local plastic surgery, orthopaedic surgery, and hand therapy teams. The project aim is to improve hand trauma care. Building on the lessons from HandsFirst1, we're now integrating hand therapy into our project goals.

All the work done within HandsFirst2 is guided by a commitment to quality improvement. This means that the team focuses on continuously making hand injury care better by using proven methods to assess, refine, and enhance hand trauma pathways.
