COVID-19 blog
Our blog series, Covid-19: views from the NHS frontline, provides a medium for opinions and comment, surrounding these unprecedented times the world currently finds itself in.
Submitting to the blog series
We are now accepting submissions for consideration from all healthcare professionals. We are looking for clinical stories and perspectives on topics such as training, patient care as well as any unique encounters with patients and lessons learnt.
Each article should be clear in its intention and persuasive, as it will need to appeal to and be relevant to our members and wider readership. The pieces that tend to be the most effective are those constructed around a well-argued, single topic. Where appropriate, references can be included. The word count for submissions is 500-800 words.
If a patient is described in any article, we must have patient consent. The exceptions to this are if the patient is dead or anonymised. We can provide a link to our patient consent form upon request.
We must ensure that we do not publish anything libellous. A lawyer will review any potentially contentious articles.
