Anatomy and Pathology Museum e-resource
The specimens on display in the Anatomy and Pathology Museum (APM) at the Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS England) can be studied online by members via our VLE at any time. Non-members can only use the VLE during an APM visit.
The e-resource has the same amazing range of materials you would find in the on-site collections of human tissue, including:
- over 300 anatomy specimens, covering key anatomical structures (with photographs, explanatory text, labelled diagrams and interactive images to test users);
- as well as over 500 pathology specimens (with photographs, explanatory text, and accompanying detailed case histories). The e-resource explores both common surgical pathologies and rare conditions.
