Event Overview
International Women's Day Reception
RCS England is delighted to host an evening reception to celebrate International Women's Day 2023, marking the accomplishments of women in surgery and how they embody this year’s theme, #EmbraceEquity. Join us on Wednesday 8 March from 6pm at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in London.
The evening will kick off at 6pm with a networking reception from 6.30pm at The View, our contemporary event space at the College. Don’t miss our featured speaker, Associate Professor Rhea Liang (@LiangRhea) who is a general and breast surgeon on the Gold Coast in Australia.
We will also be joined by the Chair of the Women in Surgery Forum, Tamzin Cuming as well as Women in Surgery Forum members and Council members coming together to celebrate the phenomenal women in surgery who are embracing equity.
Open to all RCS England and Women in Surgery members, but please note there are a limited number of in-person tickets so space must be booked in advance.
Can’t join us in person? The lecture will be live streamed and available to view online for those who register.
