Event Overview
Join us for a webinar exploring the origins, evolution, and global impact of the Cambridge Anastomosis Workshop. The Cambridge Anastomosis Workshop is a hands-on 4-day intensive workshop which covers a wide range of anastomoses - small and large bowel, oesophagus, stomach, blood vessels and urology, exploring the fundamental techniques any surgeon must know.
Designed for surgical trainees at all levels and some consultants, including senior trainees in gynae-oncology, for whom it is mandatory, the workshop remains highly relevant in the laparoscopic era. Our panel will also explore its international expansion, including workshops in Africa and Asia and the Train the Trainers model.
This session, chaired by Mr Bill Thomas, Chair of the Senior Fellows' Society, and presented by Mr Clive Quick, Associate Lecturer in Surgery, will offer insights into the workshop’s enduring value, its role in shaping surgical education and its future in the UK and beyond.
