RCS supports NHS Providers' #RebuildOurNHS campaign

The Royal College of Surgeons of England has given its support to NHS Providers' #RebuildOurNHS campaign.  Professor Derek Alderson, President of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, said: 

"The Royal College of Surgeons of England welcomes the Prime Minister’s announcement on capital investment and upgrades to hospitals.  With record hospital waiting lists, it’s sorely needed.  Today we are signing up to NHS Providers’ #RebuildOurNHS campaign, which calls for a multi-year financial settlement that will allow us to plan for the future. Sustainable capital funding is one of the pillars holding up our precious hospital services; let’s make sure that pillar rests on solid foundations."
