Practising as a Surgeon

This section considers many of the issues that will affect your practice after completing surgical training, including revalidation, appraisal and continuing professional development. You will also find sources of support you can access throughout you career.

In addition to the resource found on this website, the College runs regular events addressing the needs of surgeons at different stages of their senior careers. These include events for new consultants, mid-career consultants and our “senior women's” events. Details of all of these can be found in the College newsletter and the events listings as they are arranged.
