New Curricula for Dental Specialty Training
The General Dental Council (GDC) has been working with the dental Specialty Advisory Committees (SACs) and other stakeholders to develop new curricula for dental specialty training. These have now been published for twelve of the thirteen specialties and more detailed information is available on the GDC website. PDF versions of the new curricula can be accessed below:

Implementation of new curricula
This will not happen immediately. The Joint Meeting of Dental Faculties (JMDF), to which SACs report, has established a Dental Curriculum Oversight Group with key stakeholders such as the GDC and COPDEND to agree implementation plans. More information will be provided in due course.
