SAS Award

The winner of the annual SAS award goes to a specialty dentist, specialist or associate specialist (SAS) as recognition for excellence in their contribution to patient care, leadership and innovation. In this first year of the award, the nominations were particularly strong. The SAS award was therefore won jointly by Pippa Blacklock and Caroline Harvey.

Pippa was recognised for her contribution to education and Caroline was recognised for her contribution to national workforce development.

Calling all SAS dentists

We are looking for new members to join the FDS SAS education committee.The committee provides an excellent opportunity to work with the Faculty and College on a range of issues relating to the education and career development of SAS dentists. You do not have to be a member of FDS RCS England to apply.

The committee holds an online meeting every four months.
