The King has recognised a number of members and fellows of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in his birthday honours. They include Council member and Trustee Professor Andrew Carr FRCS FMedSci, who has been awarded a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to Orthopaedic Research and Training.
