Adult Oral Health Conference
Adult oral health survey for England 2023: Findings and implications
Why attend this symposium?
The Adult Oral Health Survey for England 2023 (AOHS 2023) provides the most comprehensive and up-to-date view of adult oral health and dental service use across the country. Commissioned by the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID), this latest survey continues a national evidence base spanning back to 1978—giving us nearly five decades of insight into how oral health is changing over time.
Delivered by the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) in collaboration with the University of Birmingham, Newcastle University, King’s College London, and University College London, the survey reflects the work of leading experts in oral epidemiology and dental public health.
This symposium brings that expertise directly to you. The academic consortium will present key findings, highlight regional and demographic variations, and discuss what these results mean for policy, service planning, and professional practice—particularly in the context of the NHS 10-year plan and the evolving balance of NHS and private provision.
