Surgical Skills for Students and Health Professionals (SSSHP) course 02E

This hands-on, one-day course is designed for medical students, early foundation doctors and allied health professionals who would like to gain practical experience of performing basic surgical skills in a safe and supportive environment.

With guidance and feedback from experienced surgical faculty, you will practice essential skills such as gowning and gloving, skin preparation and draping, suturing techniques, knot tying and tissue handling.

This course is worth 8 CPD points and you will receive an online certificate after attending the face-to-face day. You will also receive access to a range of online resources, including all the videos used on the course and the participant handbook.
