Event Overview

How can medical professionals make the most of social media?

Our September webinar will explore the benefits and some of the pitfalls involved with the use of social media for the surgical profession. Ms Tanaya Sarkhel, an Orthopaedics Consultant, surgical tutor and the mind behind the influential @surgicaltutor Twitter account, will chair what promises to be a very informative webinar.

Our panel will discuss how surgeons can use the social media tools available to improve communication with other surgeons and the wider public while maintaining a professional image and avoiding the many risks involved with using the likes of Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.

You will also get the amazing chance to ask the panel your own questions at the Q&A session.

Join the conversation by sharing your questions and experiences via the @RCSNews Twitter handle, including the #SoMe4Surgery
